Derwent Reservoir is one of the Peak District’s most iconic bodies of water, set amidst the dramatic Upper Derwent Valley. Surrounded by woodlands, moorlands, and a scenic trail network, it’s a popular destination for walking, cycling, and wildlife spotting. The reservoir is also home to the impressive Derwent Dam, famous for its role in the Dambusters training during WWII.
