Monsal Head Viaduct
Monsal Head Viaduct is one of the most iconic landmarks in the Peak District, spanning the River Wye in the heart of Monsal Dale. Built in the 19th century as part of the Midland Railway, the viaduct is a striking example of Victorian engineering set against dramatic limestone scenery. Today, it forms part of the popular Monsal Trail, offering spectacular views both from above and below, and remains one of the most photographed locations in the national park.
