Nan Tor Cave
Nan Tor Cave is a lesser-known limestone cave tucked into the hills above the Manifold Valley in the southern Peak District. Smaller and quieter than nearby Thor’s Cave, it offers a peaceful and slightly adventurous detour for walkers exploring Wetton Hill and the surrounding countryside. The cave entrance is modest but atmospheric, with elevated views across the valley and rolling Staffordshire landscape towards the more well-known Thor’s Cave.
