  • Coordinates: 53°31’26.8″N 1°31’07.4″W
  • Parking: A large National Trust car park is available on site, with designated accessible parking spaces.
  • Opening Times: 10am – 5pm daily during summer. 10am – 3:30pm Wednesday – Sunday during winter.
  • Toilets: Public toilets available on site.
  • Food & Drink Nearby: The estate has a café serving hot and cold drinks, light meals and refreshments.
  • Dog Friendly: Dogs on leads are welcome in parts of the estate, with restrictions in some areas.
  • Entry Cost: Around £10-15 per adult, £6-10 per child. Save when booking in advance. Free for National Trust members.
  • Public Transport: Local bus services operate to nearby Stainborough and Barnsley, although a walk may be required to reach the estate entrance.
  • Best Time to Visit: Spring and early summer are particularly rewarding when the gardens are in bloom, while autumn brings colour to the woodland and parkland.
