  • Food & Drink Nearby: The estate has cafés and places to eat, with additional pubs, cafés and restaurants available in nearby Wentworth and surrounding towns.
  • Dog Friendly: Dogs are welcome in designated outdoor areas, but restrictions apply inside the house and gardens. Assistance dogs are permitted throughout.
  • Entry Cost: Around £20 per adult for house tours. Gardens tickets are around £10 per adult. Children are free.
  • Public Transport: Bus services connect Wentworth with nearby Rotherham, Barnsley and surrounding villages. Elsecar and Wath upon Dearne are among the nearest railway stations.
  • Best Time to Visit: Spring through autumn offers the best opportunity to enjoy the gardens and estate, while the house provides a fascinating visit throughout the year.
