Featured Location
Bamford Edge
Bamford Edge is one of the Peak District’s most spectacular destinations, with dramatic gritstone formations overlooking Ladybower Reservoir and the surrounding hills of the Dark Peak.
As autumn arrives, the landscape takes on a rich mix of seasonal colour, with the surrounding woodland and moorland contrasting against the rugged gritstone and blue waters of Ladybower Reservoir below. It’s a particularly rewarding time to explore Bamford Edge, when the changing landscape and softer seasonal light bring a different character to the views.

Exploring The Peak District
One of the most rewarding aspects of the Peak District is the diversity of places just waiting to be discovered. Historic villages sit beneath dramatic ridgelines, woodland valleys lead to hidden waterfalls and reservoirs reflect some of the region’s most iconic scenery.
We’ve found that the best experiences often come from combining well-known destinations with lesser-visited locations, allowing visitors to experience both the famous landscapes and the quieter corners that give the national park its character.
Whether you’re seeking spectacular views, peaceful walks, fascinating history or simply somewhere new to explore, the Peak District offers countless places worth discovering.
